About the company
E.Z.E. Networks was founded in 2004 by Christian Eickhoff and André Zimmermann and offers services around the IT / Telecommunication sector.
The founder team has been successfully cooperating since 1992 and gained experience for various vendors of telecommunication products.
First we worked in production at Quante AG (1992-1995). Our activities included manufacturing/validating of individual components up to complete network elements for elec. / optical transmission systems SLA4 and SLA16. These are STM-4 and STM-16 systems.
Later, at Pirelli-Quante GmbH (1996-1999), our tasks changed to development-accompanying activities such as hard/software verification, error analysis and correction of errors including the documentation of measured test results. The installation and configuration of Pirelli-Quante products such as WaveEdge/WaveReach/T-31/WaveMux, prototype tests for a big carrier in Germany as well as international service activities (coordination and troubleshooting at the user's site) also belonged to our responsibility
From 2000 to 2003 we were employed in the prototype support group of Cisco Systems. Our tasks included start-up, verification, error analysis and repair of prototypes and complete units up to planning, installation and start-up of the test environment to increase the throughput of prototypes. Also trainings of coworkers into the respective project were accomplished. These activities were usually performed in the headquarters of Cisco Systems in the USA.
